Sakuu SVP on Dry Battery Electrode Manufacturing
Sakuu Senior Vice President Arwed Niestroj recently penned an article for Battery Technology in which he explains how dry battery electrode manufacturing enhances sustainability, efficiency, and scalability for next-generation energy storage solutions.
In Sustainable Battery Manufacturing: The Dry Process Advantage, Arwed notes that “traditional wet processes create uniform, single-density electrode layers — a significant limitation when optimizing battery performance. Dry electrode printing is one production technology that can break this constraint, enabling manufacturers to create sophisticated layered structures with varying densities and multiple materials within the same electrode, manufactured continuously in one run.”
To learn more about how printing battery components directly from dry powders saves money, time, material waste, and energy, while unlocking the ability to produce nearly any type of battery, read the full article here.
