Battery Buzz: Arwed Niestroj Talks Kavian at the AABC Show
At the Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC) in San Diego, Arwed Niestroj, SVP E-Mobility & Product spoke with the folks at H.B. Fuller about Sakuu’s latest news.
Arwed was pleased to share the news at the show that customers and development partners are able to gain early access to Sakuu’s Kavian platform. With Kavian, battery manufacturers are able to print dry electrodes, a key milestone on the journey to fully printed, dry process batteries.
Sakuu is also licensing Cypress, their proprietary lithium metal batteries. Cypress is already reaching 800+ cycles, which, as Arwed says, is “really unique for lithium metal”.
